If you’re having difficulty losing weight, exercising, or establishing other healthy behaviors, Weight Management & Fitness Coaching from Texas Whole Life Counseling can help. Our coaches help you set and stick to concrete goals to improve your health and fitness so you can take control of your weight.

The Center for Disease Control (2002) has called obesity a “public health epidemic,” with more than 60% of America’s population currently overweight. Today, obesity has been found to outrank both smoking and drinking as a factor contributing negatively both to the quality and the cost of individuals’ health and life satisfaction. Getting to a healthy weight and exercising regularly are some of the best ways to improve your overall health and quality of life.
But getting there isn’t easy for everyone. We get it. Establishing any healthy habit is difficult, especially if you’ve tried and failed in the past. A coach can help keep you motivated and on track so you establish healthy behaviors, lose weight, and exercise more frequently.
Coaching isn’t therapy, although most of the coaches at Texas Whole Life Counseling are licensed therapists. If your weight issues are tied to an underlying mental health condition such as depression or stress, your coach may recommend a combination of therapy and coaching. But for those who just need help getting and staying on track, weight management coaching and fitness coaching are great options.
Getting started takes just a few minutes and we can usually see new patients in as little as 3 days.
Making an appointment is quick and easy. After you submit your request, our office staff will send you information on how to fill out new patient paperwork, gather necessary documentation, and confirm your appointment. If it’s currently normal business hours, we’re usually in touch within one to two hours. You can request to be seen ASAP for a same-day or next-day appointment. Appointment availability may be influenced and limited by factors like your insurance plan and if you’d like to see a specific counselor.
