Anxiety is a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness. It can also manifest physical symptoms like sweating, restlessness, and rapid heartbeat. It is a universal feeling that most people experience in isolated situations, like if you have a difficult project due for school or there are issues with your work. A lot of people will experience anxiety before a test or before making an important life decision.
Anxiety like this is perfectly normal, and although it can be overwhelming, it is temporary. When that anxiety is constant and doesn’t go away, that’s when it becomes an anxiety disorder.
